Hotlink Awarding 1000 Free Messages for RM1??

When I switched on my phone this morning, it keep “beep~ Beep~” for quite a number of time… After brushing my teeth, I took my phone and got amazed!! “15 New Messages”… most of it shared the same content, “Type *138*2# & press cal to register n pay only RM1 n u can get 1000 free sms by 2day b4 11.59pm” I wasn’t sure its actuality… until I went through lowyat forum and read the newspaper. YES!! It’s true!!
BUT!!!!
There are terms and conditions!!!
-Promotion valid every monday from 1May - 29 May 2006, 12am - 11.59pm (EVERY Monday only!!! Meaning – only valid on these dates: 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29th of May)
-Register once every Monday to enjoy this offer (REGISTER ONCE EVERY MONDAY, not everyday @.@)
-Make sure you finish them all! Any balance after midnight will be forfeited (>.<)
-This promotion is not valid with other promotion.
-Not applicable for business applications.
-Promotion only valid for SMS sent to 012/017 (Not with other operators…)
Anyway, if you think your spending on messages on 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th of May TO 012/017 USERS would exceed RM1, then apply for it!
And the sad case for me is… I’m using POSTPAID!!! It’s not applicable for postpaid users!!! WTFFFF!!!! Thanks for my frens who kept sending me the msg… haha

wat so great bout it? U noe, tat day they havin da promotion, i cant make any call n even sms...like chinese say "dun have such a big head dun wear such a big hat" i aledi receive they msg of apology...really dissatisfy wif they network coverage on tat day...sigh

They actually underestimated the users' effort on sending msg... I really hv some frens sending msgs like no body's business! Imagine that i could receive 15+ messages from a same contact at the same 1 minute !! @.@ Even winnie tried her best to finish the credit! muahahaha! Remember to drop your gf a call in advance for the upcoming mondays~
I can't really imagine how the mobile companies in Malaysia survive... It really shocked me when i get back to Malaysia and saw the price for new prepaid card.
Yeah, if no terms and conditions, maxis users definately will complain about it...
